“Architects and designers on this project were given the task to achieve a look that follows the Italian Renaissance and the designs of Palladio,” explains Chris Marsh, senior vice president of the Irvine Company. “One of the main principles in Palladio’s interiors was to express harmony and balance. This had to be achieved not only in the symmetry and geometry of the rooms, but also in the choice of materials and finishes.”
To achieve these goals, Andrew Skurman Architects, San Francisco, California and Montbleau & Associates, an AWI manufacturing member located in San Diego, California were selected for the project.
